Dear Valley Catholic Parents,
This year the Foundation has asked a parent to chair the auction. For many years the auction has been run by the Foundation staff and supported by parents. Now, for the first time in many years, the auction will be entirely parent-run. Many of you may wonder where Kira Kvamme has gone. Kira has been our Auction Manager for the past several years and now will focus her efforts on alumni relations and other campus events. She will be helping me as I get my feet wet – or just jump in the deep end. Danielle Tomich is a name many of you will recognize as a long-time parent at Valley Catholic and a huge auction volunteer. She has been hired as part-time Auction Coordinator to support me and our volunteer committees. The auction theme is wHOLE in One, which reflects the energy on our campus as we all come together under one name – Valley Catholic School. This event benefits our whole community and serves to advance the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon’s commitment to teaching and learning. Organizing an event like this takes hundreds of hours of thoughtful preparation and dedication. We really couldn’t make this event shine without the generous participation of our students, alumni, parents, sponsors, faculty, staff, and friends. I hope to serve our school well and continue our successful auction tradition. Please search your “wHOLE” heart as you think about how you might like to get involved.
